Frisby立體檢查圖為最近發展的一種檢查立體視機能之設計圖形,由於臨床應用上的歷史尚短,對於它的使用價值有待更多的臨床報告。本文乃針對117名正常中國幼童以Frisby立體檢查圖檢查其立體視機能發展情形,並與具有較長使用歷史之Titmus立體檢查圖所作檢查之結果作一比較,發現兩種檢查結果都顯示出立體視機能的發育隨年齡的增加愈趨精密,同時Frisby立體檢查圖較Titmus立體檢查圖易於操作、了解,可靠性也較大。
Frisby stereotest is a non-dissociating test for stereoacuity, it included three test plates with different thickness: 6 mm, 3 mm, 1 mm and can assay stereoacuity from 15 sec to 600 sec. The stereoscopic effect is based on the natural depth stimulus, no glasses are needed. We use it to evaluate the stereoacuity in 117 normal Chinese children and compare its result with that of Titmus stereotest. It reveals that this new test chart is more easily understood by the children than Titmus stereotest chart. Although Frisby stereotest proves to be a reliable test in our study, the final evaluation requires further investigation.
