本文選取92位患者共100隻眼球,曾接受過白內障手術合併人工水晶體殖入,效果良好,並追踪一年以上者,測量其角膜曲度,眼軸長度及前房深度,利用Binkhorst's formula計算正視眼所需人工水晶體度數,並與手術後實際需要度數相比較,其關係式為IOL=4.57+0.69×DEM,相關係數0.72。折算成屆光度數誤差,Binkhorst's formula平均為0.60D,標準差1.82D。此項結果與假設殖入單一標準度數所得誤差1.06D,標準差2.86D相比,Binkhorst's formula顯然有其存在價值,其誤差變動範圍較小。但仍未能令人完全滿意。希望將來能發展出更準確之公式。

Biometry of 100 pseudophakic eyes which had been operated for more than 1 year was performed. Determination of IOL power based on calculation on Binkhorst's formula and basic refraction was compared with the postoperative refraction. Regression analysis between the IOL power based on Binkhorst's formula (DEM) and actually needed IOL power (IOL) is as follows: IOL=4.57+0.69×DEM, with coefficient of regression r=0.72. Post-operative refractive error based on basic refraction is -1.06±2.68 (1 S. D.) while mean error of Binkhorst's formular is -0.60±1.82 (1 S.D.) Binkhorst's formula can predict the postoperative refraction more reliable and little discrepancy.
