摘要

赫斯氏手術(Hughes' operation)原先應用於下眼瞼缺損超過一半以上時之眼瞼重建。於上眼瞼缺損超過一半以上時，可採用卡特勒比爾氏手術(Cutler-Beard operation)。本文報告試用「倒轉式赫斯氏手術」（即將下眼瞼之瞼板結膜瓣移行至上眼瞼缺損之重建手術）治療2例上眼瞼缺損之經驗。

In the reconstruction of subtotal upper eyelid defect, Cutler-Beard operation is a popular method. But the operation has some complications, such as entropion and trichiasis.
A modified method described by Dr. Leone, who use tarso-conjunctival advancement flap of the lower lid to repair the upper lid defect, then covered with a full-thickness skin graft. The procedure is similar to the Hughes' operation, in which the upper tarso-conjunctival advancement flap is used to repair the lower eyelid defect. This modified method can be called ”Reverse Hughes' operation”.
In this paper, the authors use the technique to repair two cases of large upper eyelid defect with satisfactory results.
