摘要

小眼症合併囊腫為少見的先天性眼病，囊腫往往大到遮蔽了原本就很小的眼睛，此病通常為單側發生。本文報告一例小眼症合併囊腫病患之臨床所見及其治療結果。

Microphthalmos with cyst is a congenital malformation in which the volume of the eye is reduced with a cyst formation. The disease may be associated with 18 chromosomal deletion defect, and may be due to incomplete closure of fetal cleft during the second month of gestation.
A 22-year-old male patient visited our clinic, with the chief complaint of absence of left globe and narrow eye fissure since birth. Ocular examination showed absence of left globe, narrow eye fissure and a bulging mass in the left lower lid. The CT scan of orbits showed atrophy and deformity of left eyeball with deviation to the lateralinferior aspect of left orbital fossa. Removal of left eyeball and cyst & socket reconstruction with sclera-shelled orbital implantation and mucosa graft were performed. Postoperative conditions were good and no recurrence of cyst was noted during 18 months follow-up period.
