長期配戴隱形眼鏡對角膜內皮細胞的影響
The Effects of Lonterm-Wearing Contact Lens on the Corneal Endothelium

本文收集42個配戴隱形眼鏡至少五年以上歷史的患者（硬式及軟式配戴者各19及23名）利用Specular microscope行角膜內皮細胞攝影，計算其內皮細胞密度，並利用Pachymeter測其角膜厚度的變化。並收集42個age-matched的正常人做對照組，比較其角膜內皮細胞密度及角膜度的差異，並對其外形做比較分析。結果顯示，硬式或軟式隱型眼鏡配戴者，無論在5-10年或大於10年兩組，其角膜內皮細胞密度，平均細胞面積及角膜厚度（除硬式隱形眼鏡配戴5至10年者外）和正常對照組無統計學上的差異。但是隱形眼鏡配戴者和正常對照組兩者在平均細胞面積的變異係數則有明顯的差異。

We collected 42 patients who wore contact lens for at least five years, (19 cases were hard contact lens wearers and 23 cases were daily wear soft contact lens wearers), compared the changes of corneal thickness and endothelial cells between the subjects and their age-matched control group by using pachymeter & specular microscope. In both groups, we excluded the cases who had history of ocular trauma, glaucoma, uveitis or ocualr surgery. The results showed that there were no significant difference between 2 groups in the corneal thinkness, endothelial cell density and mean cell area, but there was a statistically significant difference in the coefficient of variation of mean cell area between the contact lens wearer and controls.
