上瞼提肌腱膜手術治療老年性眼瞼下垂之經驗
Levator Aponeurosis Surgery for Senile Ptosis
摘要
本文報告以上瞼提肌腱膜手術治療老牛性眼瞼下垂之臨床經驗，在45眼單純性老年性眼瞼下垂之病例，平均一年七月的追踪期，有38眼之眼瞼高度達到預期目標之正負1毫米以內，成功率為84.4%，若病人之提肌功能在8毫米之上，則術後成功率高達91.4%。由於為求術中能調整眼瞼的高度與形狀，以隨即預期手術的成果，本手術適合在局部麻醉下施行。

The aponeurogenic defect is a specific clinical entity and major cause of senile ptosis. Therefore an aponeurotic approach to correct senile ptosis have been strongly advocated. From April 1985 to January 1988 the authors used Levator aponeurosis operation to treat 45 upper lids with senile ptosis. Follow-up period for these patients was 3 months to 2 years 9 months. Eighty-four percent of eyelids were corrected to within 1mm of the desired result. Six lids were undercorrected and one lid was overcorrected. A good result (91.4%) can be expected if the levator function is 8mm or more. Local anesthesia is required for this technique since the lid height should be adjusted at the time of operation.
