前額懸吊術治療眼瞼下垂症－九年之經驗
Frontalis Sling Procedure-A Nine Years Experience
摘要
報告九年間以前額懸吊術治療103病患148眼瞼例之經驗。採用之懸吊材料包括：闊筋膜、矽帶、Mersilene mesh、Supramid縫線、Nylon縫線五種。術後結果，由手術者觀點87%滿意；由病患觀點，滿意者佔80%。術後主要的併發症為：懸吊材料漸進性鬆脫或斷離、暴露性角膜炎、矯正不夠、眼瞼摺不均勻、肉芽腫形成。對於暫時性眼瞼下垂之矯治，可採用合成材料，如矽帶或Supramid縫線；永久性矯治，則以闊筋膜為最佳材料。

From July 1980 to Augest 1989, 148 frontalis sling procedures in 103 patients (53 males, 50 females; age ranged from 1 to 78 years) have been performed by the authors. The materials used in this procedure included: silicone band in 42 patients (63 eyelids); supramid suture in 36 patients (48 eyelids); mersilene mesh in 12 patients (16 eyelids); fascia lata in 12 patients (20 eyelids); and nylon suture in one patient (1 eyelid). Modified Fox method was used in all cases. The results satisfied by patients and operators showed that the fascia lata group being the best (92%), followed by mersilene mesh group (83%), silicone band (79%), supramid suture (76%) and nylon suture (0%). The major complications included: progressive loosing or slippage of the sling material, exposure keratitis, uneven lid fold, granuloma formation, undercorrection. For temporary ptosis correction, silicone band or supramid suture can be considered; for permanent ptosis correction, fascia lata is the best material.
