先天性眼球震顫的病患在臨床上並不少見,他們的症狀很多,包括不正常頭位……等,不正常的頭位通常發生在跳動性(Jerky Type)先天性眼震顫病患,主要原因為中和點(Null Point)偏離正前方,病患為取得最佳視力,於是將頭偏轉所致,本篇研究報告作者自行設計製作了一眼位追蹤儀(Eye Tracking Unit),再配合電氣眼震儀;可連續記錄眼球自左方五十度至右方五十度之眼震。以十位先天性眼震的病患所做的研究結果顯示7位可向此檢查正確評估出中和點,此自行設計之眼位追蹤儀可正確測得先天性眼震病患中和點的位置。由於檢查方法客觀且正確,具臨床實用價值,特提出報告。
Patients with congenital nystagmus are frequently seen clinically. There are a lot of clinical manifestations including abnormal head posture. Abnormal head posture is usually caused by mechanism to compensate for an eccentric null point to get the best visual acuity. We designed an eye tracking unit which can record the eye movement continuously. It consists of part of a circle with zero degree at center and fifty degrees to both sides. The results of recording ten patients with congenital nystagmus revealed: null point can be detected in six patients, null zone can be detected in one patient, and no definite null point or null zone can be detected in three patients. We strongly recommend its application in patients of congenital nystagmus who are willing to receive operation for correcting abnormal head posture.
