上顳側與上鼻側皺眉形鞏膜隧道切開，做晶體乳化術的術後散光之比較
Comparison of Astigmatism Change after Phacoemulsification by Frown Incision through Superotemporal or Superonasal Scleral Tunnel Incision
摘要
本文回顧100例晶體乳化術老年性白內障，右、左眼各50例，含有、無縫線各25例。經向同一手術者，用所謂BENT，在九至十二點鐘方向，以皺眉形鞏膜隧道切開(frown incision)，來比較右、左眼及有、無縫線術後產生的散光。 經由向量分析vector analysis統計結果：右、左眼，在術後1月、2月、3月產生的散光比較，分別為0.78±0.41與0.91±0.59 P=0.184，0.67±0.38與0.74±0.55 P=0.451，0.49±0.34與0.52±0.35 P=0.686。而有、無縫線，在術後1月、2月、3月產生的散光比較，分別為0.94±0.54與0.75±0.46 P=0.074，0.76±0.49與0.64±0.45 P=0.207，0.51±0.28與0.50±0.39 P=0.581。 所以，在右眼從上顳側方向手術與在左眼從上鼻側方向手術，所產生的術後散光比較，沒有明顯統計上的差異；而且有、無縫線術後產生的散光，也沒有明顯統計上的意義。

We reviewed 100 cases of senile cataracts resulting from phacoemulsification procedure, 50 cases each of the right and left eye, which included 25 cases with stitches and 25 cases without. Those who had undergone the same procedure were subjected to frown incision using BENT, in the nine and twelve o'clock direction, to compare the degree of astigmatism between the right and left eyes and between those that received stitching and those did not. Results from vector analysis indicated that after the first month postoperatively, the astigmatism that developed in the right and left eyes was 0.78±0.41 and 0.91±0.59 (P=0.184), after the second month it became 0.67±0.38 and 0.74±0.55 (P=0.451), and after the third month it was 0.49±0.34 and 0.52±0.35 (P=0.686). The degree of astigmatism that developed in eyes that received stitches versus those the did not was 0.94±0.54 and 0.75±0.46 (P=0.074) after the first month postoperatively, 0.76±0.49 and 0.64±0.45 (P=0.207) after the second month, and 0.5 1±0.28 and 0.50±0.39 (P=0.581) after the third month. Thus, the degree of postoperative astigmatism resulting from incision from the superotemporal direction for the right eye and the superonasal direction for the left eye did not exhibit statistically significant variation. The differences in the astigmatism that developed after surgery with and without stitching also did not carry statistical significance.
