田中謙二〈朱門弟子師事年攷〉、〈朱門弟子師事年攷續〉考辨

Critique of Tanaka Kenji's 'Zhu Men Di Zi Shi Shi Nian Kao' and 'Zhu Men Di Zi Shi Shi Nian Kao Xu'

摘要

在宋代理學研究中，朱熹和他的弟子們乃是相當重要的研究對象，欲探究朱熹門人的背景，田中謙二〈朱門弟子師事年攷〉、〈朱門弟子師事年攷續〉，以及陳榮捷《朱子門人》，皆為必讀的作品。在〈朱門弟子師事年攷〉和〈朱門弟子師事年攷續〉中，田中氏歸納《朱子語類》的語料，搭配相關文獻，推估部分門人的師事時間，而陳榮捷《朱子門人》介紹了四百多位弟子的字號、籍貫、生平等資料，亦屢次引用田中謙二推估的從學年分。然而，田中謙二對某些弟子的師事時間的推估，或有缺漏，本文則欲利用其他作品予以補正。

Zhu Xi and his students are both important subjects of investigation for researchers of Neo-Confucianism of the Song Dynasty. 'Zhu Men Di Zi Shi Shi Nian Kao', 'Zhu Men Di Zi Shi Shi Nian Kao Xu', and "Disciples of Zhu Zi" are must-reads for those who study the backgrounds of Zhu's students. 'Zhu Men Di Zi Shi Shi Nian Kao' and 'Zhu Men Di Zi Shi Shi Nian Kao Xu' summarize the text of "Zhu Zi Yu Lei" and draws on other works to infer when some of the students studied under Zhu. "Disciples of Zhu Zi" provides an overview of the birthplaces and life events of around 400 students of Zhu, while repeatedly quoting Tanaka Kenji's inferences about when those students studied under Zhu. However, Tanaka Kenji's inferences have limitations, which the present study was aimed to address by referencing other works.
