氧化鋁顆粒強化6061-T6鋁合金高溫磨潤行爲研究

Tribological Behavior of Al2O(subscript 3p)/6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy Matrix Composites at High Temperatures

摘要


本研究乃以試球對圓片狀試片(Ball-on-Plane,以下簡稱試片)方式進行試驗,並在高溫的環境中進行,以探討高溫環境中鋁基複合材料點接觸下的磨耗行爲,同時爲探討不同體積分率對磨耗行爲的影響,乃將6061-T6、10vol.%、15vol.%和20vol.%氧化鋁顆粒等四種材料均製作試球和試片,相互配對於150℃下進行乾磨耗及潤滑磨耗試驗,同時,並以52100軸承鋼珠對四種材料試片在150℃、200℃、250℃和300℃四種溫度下進行乾磨耗試驗,以探討高溫環境對顆粒強化鋁基按合材料抗響耗性的影響。 實驗結果顯示:鋁基復合材料試片與鋼球或6061鋁球配對的摩擦係數,都與氧化鋁顆粒的體積分率成反比,它遵循逆混合法則。與鋼球對磨的摩擦係數隨溫度的上升而升高,其抗磨耗性隨氧化鋁的體積分率增加而增大,它也可以用逆混合法則加以預估。鋁基按合材料與鋼球對磨的磨耗損失與環境溫度成正比。在150℃環境中潤滑磨耗的主要磨耗破壞機構則爲基材的塑性變形和物質轉移;而乾磨耗的破壞機構以基材的塑性變形、剷犁爲主,並有部份站著現象發生。200℃以上黏著現象更明顯。300℃磨耗會導致鋁合金基材的熔融、蒸發,並造成熔接現象。

The tribological behavior of 0%, 10%, 15% and 20% (by volume) par ticu1ates (Al2O(subscript 3p)) reinforced 6061-T6 aluminum alloy matrix composites has been investigated. Wear tests were performed at 150℃, 250℃ and 300℃with an Schwingung Reibung Verschleiss (SRV) oscillation friction wear tester under 25 N load. The results show that the friction coefficient and volume loss of steel balls sliding on aluminum composites increases with increasing test temperatures, and decreases with increasing vo1umetric percentage of Al2O(subscript 3p),they follow the inverse rule of mixtures. As for wear mechanism, the plastic deformation and meta! transfer are donimated at 150℃ in lubricated wear conditions, and the plastic deformation and ploughing with some adhesive wear are found in dry wear conditions. Adhesive wear is very significant at test temperature above 200℃。
