智慧型車輛引擎廢氣再循環控制影響之模擬分析

Simulation and Analysis of EGR Valve Control Effect on Intelligent Vehicle Engine Performance

摘要


本研究以一智慧型車輛動力系統中之四行程汽油引擎進行引擎廢氣再循環(EGR)控制之模擬與分析。運用所建立之智慧型車輛引擎動態性能模式,模擬並評估引擎廢氣再循環控制閥之參數對指示燃油消耗率和輸出扭力與空燃比之影響。透過本研究所建構出之模型,討論控制EGR閥之開度與工作週期兩個參數對引擎性能的影響。由此系統模擬之結果觀測動態響有合理之輸出,可作爲自行設計、評估引擎管理系統中廢氣再循環控制器控制參數之工具,減少研發時程與實驗試誤經費。

The purpose of this study is to establish a simulation method to evaluate the effects of engine exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) on intelligent vehicle engine performance. Simulations of exhaust gas recirculation valve controller parameters including valve opening time and duty cycle period on engine performance were compared under same engine operation condition. Different performance parameters such as intake manifold pressure, Air-Fuel ratio (A/F), indicated mean effective pressure (IMEP), and indicated specific fuel consumption (ISFC), were evaluated. The method established can be used in future computer engine exhaust gas recirculation control system parameter evaluation. With this dynamic performance simulation program, engineer can evaluate the variation in engine dynamic performance due to design change and different fuel control settings, reducing the corresponding trial-and-error effort, saving the research and development time and cost.
