Cathodic protection is an excellent skill to help underground pipeline against corrosion. How do we evaluate the result of pipeline under cathodic protection is difficult. Under the consideration of technical possibility and economics, it may be a good method that use the close interval potential survey (CIPS). It is more precise for checking anti-corrosion status of pipeline to use intelligent PIG.
