丁二烯為毒性化學物質具有共軛雙鍵的最簡單二烯烴,生產儲存過程活性強、容易發生聚合產生聚合物,危害特性包括閃火點低(-76℃),引燃能量小,爆炸下限低,爆炸範圍大(2.0%~11.5%),遇到火源可能燃燒爆炸等特性,為極度不穩定之易燃物質。丁二烯容易與氧氣反應形成具爆炸性的有機過氧化物,該丁二烯過氧化物會與丁二烯單體聚合,生成爆米花狀丁二烯聚合物。丁二烯過氧化物POPCORN是造成丁二烯爆炸的重要根源,大量的丁二烯過氧自聚物在管線設備中,只要獲得一定能量就會導致爆炸,造成重大事故。本文從聚合反應機構的第一步驟起始反應,思考如何降低聚合反應的發生,並進行製程節能改善案。
The Butadiene Purification Unit extracts high purity 1,3-butadiene from the C_4 stream transferred from an ethylene plant. The plant consists of four section , i.e. 1st & 2nd Extractive Distillation. In the extractive distillation, the operating temperature of the bottom of the distillation column should be kept below 135℃ to prevent the fouling problem due to polymerization of diolefins. Two kinds of steam are used in the Butadiene Unit including- the medium pressure steam (P = 12 kg/cm^2G) and the low pressure pteam (P = 3.5 kg/cm^2G).At the distillation column bottom, it can use the low pressure steam to replace the medium pressure steam to heat the reboiler for saving the utility consumption and preventing polymerization from 1,3-BD.
