低硫石油焦的應用

Applications of Low Sulfur Calcinated Petroleum Coke

摘要


2016年全球低硫煅燒石油焦產量約2,900萬噸,分別用於當作陽極焦最大宗佔85%、增碳劑佔6%、針狀焦佔5%、鈦礦還原劑佔4%。隨著原油重質化及2020年國際海事組織(IMO)實施使用硫含量0.5%船舶用燃料,未來能夠用來生產低硫石油焦的重質油原料勢必減少。本文主要在於說明煉鋁電極、金屬鑄造、電弧爐煉鋼及鋰電池、鈦白粉生產領域,對低硫石油焦的理化性質要求及說明延遲結焦製程相關要項如生焦品質的提昇、傳統進料的改質及尋求新料源。

The total production of low sulfur calcinated petroleum coke reached about 29 million tons in 2016, being used as anode coke(85%)、carbon raiser(6%)、needle coke(5%) and reducing agent of rutile(4%), respectively. Due to heavier crude oil and fufillment of international marine fuel oil with 0.5 wt% sulfur content in 2020, the feedstocks to delayed coker for producing low sulfur calcinated petroleum coke were become shorted gradually . This trend resulted in making petroleum coke quality worse, with high sulfur content and high metal content. This article was intented to describe the different coke specifications for anode coke、carbon raiser、needle coke and reducing agent of rutile ; and also to elucidate the aspects related to delayed coking , including improvement of green coke、modification of feedstocks and exploration of new feedstocks.
