摘要

腎蕨具有特殊之羽狀複葉，耐候性與環境適應性佳，惟臺灣商業販售少見新品種，因此臺東農業改良場以商業品種芽變小株選拔，自行命名新品種「臺東1號」，於2018年審查通過。本品種植株株型開張，株高低，小羽片基部形狀銳形，內角窄深度深。葉長中，葉幅窄。小羽片長（側部）中，小羽片寬（側部）窄，新葉色、成葉色及成葉葉背色均為綠（RHS146C）。葉數多，小羽片數中，葉柄長度短，顏色赤褐（RHS166A），小羽片關節強弱強，無孢膜與孢子。本品種栽培容易，全年均可生產，病蟲害少，具獨特優美外觀，適合室內綠美化及組合盆栽應用，裨益蕨類產業之發展。

Nephrolepis has special pinnate compound leaves, good weather resistance and environmental adaptability. The self-named new variety of Nephrolepis falcata 'Taitung No.1' was selected from the commercial variety Nephrolepis falcata 'Furcans' by bud mutation in 2013. On May 11, 2018, scholars and experts were invited to review and pass the self-named. Plant form is Spreading, Plant height is low. Shape of pinnule base is acute, interior angle Narrow(45°), depth of pinnule lobe is deep. Pinnule length (lateral pinnule) is medium, width is narrow. The color of surface of young frond, mature frond upperside and mature frond underside are green(RHS146C). Number of fronds are many, number of pinnules are medium. Stipe length is short and color is red brown(RHS166A). Strength of pinnule articulation is powerful, spore and present of indusium is absent. Nephrolepis falcata 'Taitung No.1' could be produced year-round, has few pests and diseases, has a unique and beautiful appearance, is suitable for indoor landscaping and combined potted applications, and benefits the development of the fern industry.
