An Analysis of the Development and Application of Semisolid Metal Forming Technology

摘要


半固態金屬成形係七十年代開發出的嶄新金屬成形技術,由於此法具有節約能源、減少資源浪費、有利環境保護等綠色製造的特色,因此被認為是二十一世紀新興金屬製造關鍵技術。本文乃對半固態金屬成形技術的原理、成形製程、研究發展、應用狀況等進行全面性的分析,研究發現半固態金屬成形確是一種深具潛力且正逐步為大眾認識之最具發展前景的近淨形、精密金屬成形技術,在汽車、通訊、電腦、國防及航空等尖端領域皆有廣闊的應用前景,值得再繼續深入進行研究與開拓應用觸角。

Semisolid Metal Forming, a brand-new metal forming technology developed in the 1970s, has been considered as a critical manufacturing technology in the 21(superscript st) century with the features of reducing resources consumption, being energy saving, and being environmentally friendly in green manufacturing. Based on the afore- mentioned premise, the current study sought to provide analysis for the semisolid metal forming technology in terms of its fundamentals, forming processes, research development, and various applications. Results showed that semisolid metal forming appeared to be the most promising technology in near net shape and precision mental forming, and had been increasingly applied to the fields of automobile, communication, computer, and national defense. Future research should be extended and its application scope deserves expanding too.
