放射狀散熱片擠制模具設計與製造

Design and Manufacturing of Mold and Die in Extrusion of Radial fin of Heat Sink

摘要


目前市面上散熱片的形式與製作方法有非常多種,本研究主要是針對異型材來設計一套散熱片的擠製模具。研究的過程中先以自行設計之放射狀散熱片模具,以有限元素分析軟體DEFORMTM 3D進行模擬分析,並以散熱片的形狀尺寸、導流板及鰭片模口斜度作為變數進行一連串的模擬,希望藉由DEFORMTM 3D模擬之結果找出減少散熱片擠製過程中產生翹曲現象的方法。分析中假設模具為剛體,擠製壓力和溫度設為定值,依據模擬結果顯示散熱片形狀及鰭片模口斜度對翹曲之影響頗大,導流板對於翹曲影響較小,但會影響應力之大小。最後製作模具時將散熱片底部面積縮小,以降低產品翹曲行為。

There are several forms and manufacturing methods of fin of heat sink in the market. The purpose of this research is to design a mold and die of extrusion for profiled materials. The primary goal of this paper is to find the ways that can reduce the warping behavior during the extrusion process. We used the die of radial fin of heat sink which was analyzed and simulated by using a commercial finite element package DEFORMTM 3D. The parameters considered different sizes and shapes of the fin of heat sink, the material flow board and sloping fin. The simulation assumed to be rigid body of the die, the constant pressure and temperature. According to the outcome of simulation to reveal that there is a significant effect to warping of the shape of fin of heat sink and the slope of fin die. The material flow board is less effect to warping of the fin of heat sink, but it will influence of the stress of fin. Finally, it decreases the bottom area of the fin of heat sink for manufacturing die that reduce the warping behavior of product.
