近淨鍛造模具應力控制之研究

Study of Stress Control on the Near-Net Shape Forging Die

摘要


近淨鍛造技術具有節省材料、減少後加工成本及易自動化的特性,此技術被大量用於汽車、管配件、航太零件等產業,然而,近淨鍛造技術亦存在有相當的挑戰,其一為模具需有釋壓的設計,以確保模具在成型的過程中,承受的應力不超過模具材料的降伏強度,以提升近淨鍛造模具的壽命。本研究的目的為設計及分析近淨鍛造模具的釋壓微結構,由於我們不採用複雜的預成型設計,而工件在鍛造完成之後,仍需要後加工製程,因此,我們可以在需要被車銑的位置,設計具有平順外型的微結構,減低在鍛造合模時的瞬間壓力,並確保產品完整成型。本研究採用Simufact Forming的CAE軟體,進行熱鍛模具用於成型具曲面外型的鞍頭產品,釋壓設計的構想包括釋壓導口、釋壓緩流區等,相關的模擬成果,也將在本研究中配合部分的實驗進行驗證。

With advantages of material saving, fewer post-process, and potentially ready for automation, the technology of near-net shape forging (hereafter NNSF) is ample utilized in industries of automobile, fitting and pipe, aerospace and so on. However, for different type of final products, challenges of the NNFS stay open to academic or research institute. One of the major issue is how to design of pressure releasing structure for controlling the sustained stress under the yield point of the forging die and meanwhile, to fit the budget plan of the end user. With the proper pressure releasing design, the useful life of the forging die can be reasonable extended. The purpose of this study is to design and analysis the profile and location of the pressure releasing structure. Since the pre-forming stage with complex profile in most of research works will not be adopted in this work, we, instead, leave very few segments of flash for post-process. Thus, we have the flexibility to design the pressure releasing structure on those segments. In our study, the Simufact forming commercial software will perform the deformation calculation and part of the simulation results will be conducted experimentally.
