摘要

Pancoast tumor是臨床上較為罕見的病例。本文報告一位因右頸、肩及右上臂疼痛的病人接受短波治療。最後診斷出為胸腔肺尖的惡性腫瘤。病人接受外科手術治療後，改以電刺激進行復健止痛。由於文獻報告腫瘤是深層透熱療法的禁忌症之一，本文特別提出來討論，以提醒復健科醫師提高警覺。

Clinically, Pancoast tumor is an uncommon disease. We report one case who had received short wave diathermy dued to right neck, right shoulder and right upper arm pain. Tinally, he was proved as a lung CA with lymph rode and chest wall involvement. After surgical treatment, he received TENS therapy. According to the literature, tumor is contraindicated to diathermy. We postulate this case to remind Reh doctor keep alert in prescribing deep diathermy.
