The purpose of this research is to test the response characteristics of the axial displacement corresponding to the load when the square tube is subjected to axial pressure, and calculate the material strain-stress curve. Observing the experimental reaction, the paper delamination phenomenon was found to change the paper tube material strength. Due to the fact that the delamination process cannot be controlled, the displacement-loading curve of specimen and the ultimate stress of the material have a variation about 20%. The results of this experiment established the relationship between square paper tube cross section geometric size and ultimate stress, and the reaction characteristics. These provide important reference to the quality improvement of follow-up manufacturing.
