社工服務男性相對人之角色與挑戰－以駐地方法案家暴事件法服處為例
Role and Challenge of Social Worker who Works with Male Perpetrators in Domestic Violence : The Example of District Court Service
摘要
駐地方法院家暴事件法服處的成立，原是為了協助受暴婦女進入家暴事件的訴訟流程，故法服處多由婦保機構承接，然而在法院期待下，需同時提供服務給男性相對人。本研究希望探討社工在服務男性相對人時的角色及挑戰，以及如何影響社工的工作模式。本研究採質性研究設計，共訪談了六位法服處女性社工。研究發現：多數受訪社工在服務男性相對人時會經歷價值觀及角色的衝突，然而經歷挑戰及對話，漸漸能看出家暴事件的脈絡，透過與男性相對人的工作，社工有機會去改變對他們的既定印象，並拓展對協助受暴婦女這個助人工作角色的認知，建立起有別於一般家暴防治網絡的定位。本研究據此建議專業培訓應加強對男性相對人的工作策略，並加強督導及支持系統。

The purpose of establishing the domestic violence service in the district court is to help battered women . Since the service is contracted to non-profit organizations helping battered women, the court requirement of serving male perpetrators inevitably brings up challenges to social workers, as most of them are female. This study attempts to explore the female social workers' role and challenge when working with male perpetrators, and how these experiences influence their service models. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected by in-depth interviews with 6 female social workers in the district court. Our study found that most social workers experienced value and role of professional helpers' conflict while serving male perpetrators, yet as they worked out such conflicts, they could actually work with male perpetrators and helped them change. The change of male perpetrators, in turn, can help to prevent domestic violence more effectively. According to research findings, we suggested that training social workers to equip skills in helping male perpetrators is important. In addition, adequate supervision and support are important, so that not only battered women can receive services, assistance providing to male perpetrators can reduce the risk of women being battered.
