吸入型止痛藥Methoxyflurane（Penthrox®）之最近文獻回顧

摘要

臺北市消防局自2019年引進含有活性成分methoxyflurane之手持式吸入型止痛藥Penthrox®，提供高級救護技術員（emergency medical technician-paramedic）用於18歲以上、因急性外傷導致視覺類比量表（visual analogue scale）≥30mm、預計脫困及送醫時間大於30分鐘以上，且能自行手持吸入器之病人止痛。本文將整理methoxyflurane的最新隨機對照試驗數據的藥物有效性及安全性、交互作用、副作用、禁忌症以及在特殊族群中使用之注意事項。

Penthrox® is a portable, disposable, single-use, hand-held inhaler device which was introduced by the Taipei City Fire Department for emergency medical services in 2019. It can be provided to conscious patients with visual analogue scale ≥ 30 mm as self-administered analgesics under emergency medical technician-paramedics supervision. Recent randomized controlled trials have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of this drug for analgesia. It is necessary for the health-care providers to be more familiar with the dosing, drug interactions, adverse effects and contraindications of methoxyflurane.
