藥品盤點E化系統的建置與效益

The Establishment and Effectiveness of Electronic Drug Inventory System in Hospital Pharmacy

摘要


目的:為維持藥品品質與掌控庫存現況,醫院藥局須定期進行藥品盤點。傳統藥品盤點作業大多依賴人工作業,不僅耗時費力且容易出錯。本研究希望透過建置藥品盤點E化系統,期能簡化盤點作業流程,減少藥品盤點耗費的藥師人力並提升效率與正確性。方法:本研究為某區域教學醫院利用藥品盤點E化系統之建置進行口服藥品盤點,並利用Google試算表進行盤點及計算加總。Google試算表盤點方式可掃描QR Code掃描找到藥品品項,並輸入現有庫存藥品片數及零散量後,直接利用excel程式進行加總。本研究將與傳統紙本盤點作業模式進行比較,探討藥品盤點E化系統對於藥品盤點的藥師工時差異與盤點正確性。結果:相較於傳統紙本盤點作業模式,利用Google試算表E化盤點可節省36秒/每項藥品。若以該院口服品項達2,900種為例,每次盤點即可節省29小時的藥師工時。此外,盤點錯誤率可從原先的傳統作業模式的1.17%,下降到Google試算表盤點的0.17%。結論:藥品盤點E化系統可減少藥師盤點作業工時並提升盤點藥品正確性。未來仍須多次驗證系統流程,持續優化作業方式以利全面推展。

Objective: To maintain drug quality and manage drug inventories, hospital pharmacies should implement proper drug inventory management. Updating a drug inventory manually is time-consuming and frequently results in errors. We evaluated the efficiency and accuracy of inventory management conducted through an electronic drug inventory system designed to streamline drug inventory management and reduce the working time of pharmacists. Methods: This study examined the electronic drug inventory system for oral drugs used by a regional hospital. The system utilizes Google forms to track drug inventory levels. Users of this system identify drug items by screening quick response codes and updating the inventory by inputting drug quantity data. We compared a conventional drug inventory system with an electronic drug inventory system in terms of the working time required by pharmacists and the accuracy of drug inventory management. Results: Compared with the conventional system, the electronic system reduced the time required to update the inventory of each drug by 36 s. At a hospital pharmacy with 2,900 oral drugs, the electronic system reduced the working time required by pharmacists by 29 h. In addition, the pharmacy reported a decrease in the drug inventory error rate from 1.17% to 0.17% after transitioning from a conventional system to the electronic system. Conclusion: The electronic drug inventory system reduced the workload of pharmacists and increased the accuracy of drug inventory management. Further research should be conducted to optimize the standard operating procedure for the expanded implementation of this system in hospital pharmacies.
