The treatment of crown-root fractures in permanent dentition comprises different modalities. The treatment of choice is primarily based by the exact fracture level of site and type, however, cost and complexity of treatment are part of factors of consideration. In this report, we presented two cases with surgical extrution. The first case was a crown-root fracture caused by trauma. The second case was subgingival decay. Surgical extrusion was carried out first, then endodontic treatment was performed. After the clinical situation was stable, the crown and bridge were restored later. Overall, the clinical situations were acceptable during the follow-up period. Surgical extrusion is one good treatment choice of the crown-lengthening procedures.
