摘要

本文藉由－文獻回顧方式來探討抽菸對牙周病的影響。首先提出菸草對人體有害的物質及菸草使用方法，隨後從微生物學和免疫學觀點來探討抽菸對牙周病可能引起的致病因素，以及抽菸對各種牙周病臨床治療效果的影響，並提出文獻支持其論點。

According to the literature, the article is to review and discuss the influence of smoking to the periodontal disease. This article first proposed harmful matter of tobacco to human body and the application methods of tobacco. Afterwards, from the viewpoint of microbiology and immunology to discuss smoking that may be a possible pathogenesis factor to periodontal disease, as well as the influence of clinical outcome of different kinds of periodontal treatment. All of these needs further research to support.
