Maxillary Anterior Localized Ridge Deficiency and Reconstruction-A Case Report

摘要

上顎前牙無牙區的牙脊缺損，如僅以傳統牙橋橋體製作則可能會造成美觀不良的問題。而如選擇適當的手術方式重建缺陷牙脊，又受限於缺陷區域的嚴重度及所能取得的捐贈組織多寡。因此，本文希望藉由提出一Dr. Seibert氏第三類中度齒脊缺損的患者來探討此議題。本病例經多次軟、硬組織手術後，於齒脊水平寬度增加1.7-4.0mm，垂直高度增加1.5-2.5mm。患者對此治療結果表示滿意。目前定期追蹤以進行人工植牙。

In maxillary anterior edentulous regions, ridge deficiency may preclude a good pontic fit and esthetic result. Selection of the appropriate surgical procedure and graft method depends on the nature and extent of the defect and availability of donor tissue. We present a ridge augmentation case who was Seibert class Ⅲ with moderate maxillary anterior ridge deficiency. After soft and hard tissue surgical intervention, the overall ridge width has increased 1.7-4.0 mm and the ridge height has increased 1.5-2.5mm. The Patient was satisfied with the result. Now we follow up this case periodically for implant surgery.
