摘要

牙齒和牙齦的外觀逐漸成為一個重要的課題，尤其是在擁有高微笑曲線的患者。齒間區的乳突若萎縮，將會導致牙齒之間的“黑三角”從而影響美觀。有眾多原因會造成齒間乳頭的喪失，並且有一些因素是我們可以改變的，進而增加齒間和植體間乳突存在的機率。現已有各種方式用來保存和重建齒間乳突。但是結果是不可預測的。進行如何使乳突再生的研究可提供多一項選擇來改善不美觀的情況。（台灣牙周醫誌17: 99-109, 2012）

Tooth and gingival appearance have gradually become an important issue in dentistry, especially in patients with high smile lines. Insufficient fill of the papilla in the interproximal area can cause ”black triangles” between the teeth, thus compromising esthetics. There are numerous causes of papillary loss and also some factors that we may alter to increase the possibility of the presence of interdental and inter-implant papilla. Various methods have been developed in aim to preserve and reconstruct the interproximal papilla. However, the outcomes are not predictable. Further studies on how the papilla may be regenerated could provide a resolution to unesthetic situations. (J Taiwan Periodontol 17:99-109, 2012)
