摘要

從Branemark於1965年開始發展口腔植體且提出骨整合的概念，並於1977年提出了10年長期病例追蹤報告，過去將近50年來，人工植體已經發展為牙科治療中不可或缺的一環。雖然一些文獻報導植體的成功率高達九成，隨者大量植體成功置入人體口腔內，植體周圍疾病的發生也開始困擾著臨床醫師。因此本文就植體周圍疾病做簡要的整理，並回顧處理植體周圍黏膜炎的相關方法，以作為未來臨床治療之參考。

Branemark developed a novel dental implant system in 1965 and highlighted the concept of osseointegration. He published a case report with ten-year follow-up in 1977. In the last five decades, dental implant therapy has become one of the more optimal solutions when replacing missing teeth in partially and fully edentulous patients. Although several studies have reported over 90% implant survival rates, peri-implant disease sometimes occurs and this presents a challenge to clinicians. To date, there is lack of scientific evidence regarding predictable treatment options for peri-implant disease. This article aims to review the definition and prevalence of peri-implant mucositis and explores related treatment options.
