Recommendations for Physics Testing of Fluoroscopic and Interventional Radiologic Systems

Abstracts

Parallel abstracts

The purpose of this report was to review and recommend physics testing of fluoroscopic and interventional radiology systems, by the fluoroscopy task group of the Chinese Society of Medical Physics, Taipei (CSMPT). This report was integrated according to important references and reports. Fourteen testing items including one optional test were proposed. For each item, purpose, equipment, procedure and criteria were summarized. The report may serve as a reference for the staff involved in the fluoroscopic and interventional radiographic quality control program, as well as for the Regulatory Authority to implement quality assurance standards.
