The Influence Weighting Analysis of Theft Case via GM(0,N) Method-An Case Study in Taipei Daan Precinct

Under the impact of global economic recession and financial tsunami, Taiwan is also not free from the impact of the big environment. Because of the high unemployment rate, social security problems are also more and more important and restless. Plus, there are significant changes among people's interpersonal relationships and values, so the original function of social control is facing disruption, the society is becoming disorder and it seems to be more unsafe and disorder. According to major types of crime statistics criminal cases taken by domestic National Police Agency, among the nationwide numbers of theft, fraud, breach of trust, breach of drug control, and the theft cases in Taipei, the theft cases scored top on the criminal cases. So, we can imagine the seriousness. Therefore, the article is based on the number of the theft cases and uses GM(0,N) in grey system theory to find out the weighting of each influence factor in theft cases. Then, the possible solution and possible directions for improvement can be found, which can provide another statistical method to the executive police when they propose policies.
