鈔票圖像設計研究－以2004至2020年IBNS獲獎作品為例

本研究以國際鈔票協會（International Bank Note Society）簡稱IBNS自2004年開始至2020年所發表共計17年，14個國家的獲獎鈔票作為研究對象，針對鈔票上之圖像設計進行研究。藉由實體收藏之獲獎鈔票、文獻探討與IBNS比賽公告之資訊，運用圖像學與文本分析法探討IBNS獲獎鈔票之圖像設計所傳達意涵、分類與獲獎因素。歸納有以下兩點發現：一、IBNS 2004至2020年獲獎鈔票設計藉由圖像傳遞：國家歷史、建築工程之成就、民族文化、生態環境、藝術風格、國家產業、人文景觀與民族的和平⋯⋯等等信息；所運用之圖像設計元素以動植物為主要，共有13個年度，佔據第一；第二個為為國家所使用與為歷史遺跡或社會知名建築物；政治性、傑出性、藝術性人像及人權並列至第三；第四為國家地理景觀和國家社會代表性文物作品並列，象徵性對現在與未來社會的展望、國家資源與經濟作物運用的類型則相對較少。二、分析獲獎因素：第一為「色彩搭配」獲獎，其二為「藝術性」獲獎，但藝術性因人而異，筆者從眾多資料分析嘗試解讀藝術性獲獎可能三個影響要素：（1）細膩圖像；（2）色彩質感提昇藝術性；（3）特殊風格的運用。第三個獲獎因素為「防偽技術」，最後是「設計理念」及「新技術發明」。

In this study, the International Banknote Society (IBNS) published a total of 17 years of champion banknotes from 14 award-winning countries from 2004 to 2020 as the research objects. The text analysis method explores the image design meaning, classification, and award-winning factors of IBNS champion banknotes. The research results can be summarized in two points. 1. IBNS 2004-2020 banknote image design through image transmission: national history, architectural engineering achievements, national culture, ecological environment, artistic style, national industry, cultural landscape, nationality, peace etc. The most chosen classification of icons is the animals and plants. The second is the architectures. The third is people and humanity. The fourth is the geographical landscape and social cultural relics. The less used types are prospects, resources and body language. 2. Analyze the winning factors: the first is the ＂Color Matching＂ award, the second is the artistry, but the artistry varies from person to person, the study interprets the three factors that influence the artistry award from data analysis: (1) exquisite images, (2) color presentation enhances artistry, (3) the use of special styles. The third winning factor is anti-counterfeiting technology, while ＂Design Concepts＂ and ＂New Technological Inventions＂ are relatively rarely mentioned.
