摘要

顏面不對稱（facial asymmetry）的患者伴隨有嚴重程度不一的嘴唇歪斜（lip canting）問題，許多患者尋求矯正治療或矯正合併正顎手術治療來改善顏面不對稱的問題，但矯正治療或矯正合併正顎手術治療能改善嘴唇歪斜的程度卻是未知的。在此文獻回顧中，將探討可能造成嘴唇歪斜的因素，並討論雙顎手術和單顎手術對於嘴唇歪斜改善程度的影響及其關聯性。

Patients with facial asymmetry usually accompany with lip canting. Most of these patients came for orthognathic surgery combine orthodontic treatment for chin deviation and asymmetric facial problem. However, the improvement of lip canting after surgery is not as predictable as correction of chin deviation. From our literature review, the correlated factors of lip canting were discussed, and the relationship between improvement of lip canting with two jaw / one jaw orthognathic surgery were reviewed.
