To integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on decent work with the overall curriculum goals of Taiwan' s12-Year Basic Education, this study explored existing scholarly understandings of the SDGs on decent work, educational materials' content on decent work, and curriculum and teaching standards in the 12-Year Basic Education. Additionally, possibilities for integration between career education and the SDGs on decent work were assessed. Findings suggested four main career education goals related to decent work: (a) pursuit of social dialogue, solidarity, and action; (b) exploration of social justice; (c) joint responsiveness to the challenge of labor marginalization; and (d) development and application of strategies for promoting decent work through career education. Career education can shape reflexive collective action in students' lives and career development, contributing to the SDGs on decent work.
