王筠「分別文」與「累增字」綜論
The Comprehensive Discussion of Wang-Yun's 「Fen Bie Wen」 and 「Lei Zeng Zi」
摘要
王筠《說文釋例》提出了分別文與累增字的概念，並為之下了定義，然而後世學者鮮少對這兩個概念進行全面而深入的研究，導致多有誤解其意的現象。分別文和累增字都是為「表義」服務，共同點是「加偏旁」行為，而其表義功能、加偏旁的目的、加偏旁的效果以及加偏旁之後本字的處境，這方面的不同點就構成了兩者的差異。分別文與累增字和古今字、異體字、形聲字、轉注造字等亦有所差異，分別文和累增字的邏輯範圍比較小，是以與異體字和轉注造字不同；分別文和累增字的專注點在於造字和表義，是以與古今字和形聲字不同。因此，不能將分別文與累增字混作其他術語，彼此之間不可混為一談。惟有瞭解與認清這一點，方能確切明暸王筠所謂的分別文和累增字的定義。

Wang-Yun had propose the concept of Fen Bie Wen and Lei Zeng Zi in his book called ＂Shuo Wen Shi Li＂, but researcher seldom conduct a comprehensive review on this topic, resulting in confused and misunderstanding on the definition on these two concept. Both Fen Bie Wen and Lei Zeng Zi have the function of meaning representation, both have the same action of increasing Chinese character component, but the function, purpose, and result of increasing Chinese character component, define the differences of this two concept. The concept range of Fen Bie Wen and Lei Zeng Zi is quite small, therefore it is different with Yi Ti Zi and Zhuan Zhu Zi. Also, Fen Bie Wen and Lei Zeng Zi are focusing on word creating and meaning representing, thus it is different with Gu Jin Zi and Xing Sheng Zi. Therefore, one must not mix up Fen Bie Wen and Lei Zeng Zi with other concept. If and only if this principle is being recognize, only the concept of Fen Bie Wen and Lei Zeng Zi will be precisely defined.
