摘要

局部缺牙的患者，當其所剩之牙齒條件較差而不太適合做為可撤式局部義齒(Removable Partial Denture)之理想支柱牙(abutment)時，有時可考慮保留其牙根作為覆蓋式義齒(overdenture)的支柱牙，同樣可發揮其提供義齒在支撐(support)，穩定(stability)、固持力(retention)等方面之功能。
若在支柱牙根上裝置附連體(attachment)，常可有效增加義齒之固持力及穩定；而附連體依我們期望牙根發揮的功能，可以有許多選擇，本報告將介紹覆蓋式義齒附連體選擇的考量及ERA attachment之特性及其臨床運用，並提出一個可撤式局部義齒合併運用ERA attachment的病例報告。

A questionable tooth not suitable as an ideal abutment of a removable denture could still be saved, if it's root portion is an abutment of an overdenture; if designed properly it could provide support, stability and retention of the denture.
Utilizing an attachment can increase the support, retention and stability of the denture. We should choose an attachment according to the capability of the root. This report is a case of removable partial denture utilizing an ERA attachment which gives thought to the choice of attachments and introduces the clinical application and character of ERA attachments.
