Common post-COVID-19 vaccine reactions include general malaise, headache, diarrhea, local injection site reaction, fever and myalgia. We present a case report about one kind of rare side effect, alopecia universalis, and discuss the pathophysiology about autoimmune alopecia (alopecia areata, alopecia totalis, alopecia universalis). JAK-STAT pathway plays an important role and we treated the patient with JAK inhibitor tofacitinib which got fair treatment response.
