《金瓶梅》詩文中吳月娘婦徳探論

A study of Wu Yueliang's Virtuousness and Chastity as Expressed in the Poems of The Golden Lotus

摘要


自古以來,對於從一而終、堅守節操的女子,向來倍受眾人歌頌與表揚,《金瓶梅》作者藉由筆下的吳月娘,完美詮釋古代妻子的「賢」與「貞」,反映當朝時代對婦德的標準與觀點。《金瓶梅》最終以「樓月善良終有壽,瓶梅淫佚早歸泉。可怪金蓮遭惡報,遺臭千年作話傳。」和潘金蓮、李瓶兒、春梅三人對比,肯定了吳月娘的「賢」與「貞」,暗示了吳月娘的結局「壽年七十歲,善終而亡」正是拜其德行所賜,亦印證作者對於婦德的要求與期望。本文就《金瓶梅》詩和文中之原本,分別就吳月娘善盡妻之「權」與「責」,以及吳月娘的「賢」與「貞」一一探論,深入了解《金瓶梅》書中所型塑的女子婦德觀。

Since ancient times, for the one and the end, one-man wife woman, has always been popularly praising and praising, The Golden Lotus author presented Wu Yueliang as the perfect interpretation of the ancient wife with " virtuousness" and "chastity", reflecting the times mora and ethic notion and social values. The Golden Lotus ended with a poem stating, " Long living was the reward for Lou and Wu's virtuousness;/Premature death was a result of Pan and Chunmei's promiscuousness./Not only Pan deserved her own karma,/But she brought ruin and everlasting infamy upon herself by posterity," to contrast the life of Pan Jinlian, Li Pinger and Chunmei. Having affirming Wu's "virtuousness" and "chastity", The Golden Lotus also suggested Wu Yueliang's seventy years old long-living lifespan was the reward for her virtue, it was also evidentually showing the author's requirements and expectations for women's behaviors. In this paper, the related poems from the Golden Lotus were cited and studeid to illurtate the author's exepression of such values via the role of Wu Yueliang being the rightuous wife with the legal "right" and "responsibility."
