台灣地區交通監控系統智慧化之發展應用

交通監控的目的在了解車流動態在交通控制條件下的運作情形、掌控交通控制設施是否正常運作，並根據車流變化調控交通控制設施的控制邏輯。台灣地區主要城市多已建置（或已發包建置）交通監控系統，本論文因此歸納整理目前台灣地區常態運作之交通監控系統，藉指出其建置目的與發揮之功效，定義其等在整體交通控制系統中的角色，同時藉由檢視這些實用系統與現階段智慧運輸系統發展方向，提出將這些監控成果納入智慧運輸系統發展內涵，以服務民眾日常行旅需求、提升社會競爭力、達成科技匯流的可能性與發展策略。

The goal of the traffic surveillance is to understand the operation situation of dynamic traffic streams under traffic control, recognizing and controlling whether the traffic controlling facilities can operate regularly, and it can adjust the logical control of the traffic controlling facilities according the change of traffic streams. This paper reviews almost all traffic surveillance systems which are regularly operating in Taiwan recently. And on the based of pointing out the purpose of constructing the traffic surveillance system, defining a role it played in the traffic control systems. At the same time, according to review these practical systems and developing direction of intelligent transportation systems at present, we indicate that to bring the result of traffic surveillance into intelligent transportation system developing cultivation, in order to serve the public, improve social competition, and to achieve the probability and developing strategy of technology convergence.
