高雄市駕駛人對行車號誌倒數計時器感受與偏好意見分析

Perception and Preferment of Drivers on Countdown Display Device in Kaohsiung City

摘要


車輛行經重要路口常因號誌時制週期長無法確知紅、綠燈剩餘時數,以致於駕駛人在燈號變換階段出現違反行車號誌、決策遲疑及焦慮之情形。為改善此狀況及提高行車安全與效率,近年來多個縣市開始在路口號誌加裝倒數計時器,以提供駕駛人更多時相變換的資訊,其主要形式有三種:紅燈倒數、綠燈倒數、紅燈與綠燈皆倒數之計時器。本研究藉由問卷調查行車倒數計時資訊對於高雄市駕駛人之影響及感受,並探討駕駛人偏好之倒數計時器設置形式。研究結果指出受訪者普遍認為倒數計時器之設置對於駕駛過程有所助益,且可提昇行車安全,並期待倒數計時器之設置形式應予以統一規範。

The countdown display device is the countdown counter installed on the signalized intersection. In Taiwan, countdown display devices have installed on test sites during the past few years. The main purpose of the countdown display device is to provide drivers more information during signal changing internal and therefore support drivers' decision making. The types of countdown displays include: red-light countdown, green-light countdown, and red-and-green-light countdown. Through the questionnaire surrey, about 300 drivers in Kaohsiung City were investigated to explore their perception and preference upon the service and outlet of countdown displays. The result reveals that most of the respondents consider the countdown display device useful and a uniform layout of the device is preferred.
