臺灣每年約13%的碳排放來自於交通,除了透過綠色運具來減少交通碳排放外,也可利用智慧化的交通管理控管車流、增加號誌設計之彈性,進而減少車輛空等時間與碳排放。臺北市致力於智慧交通的發展,近年來在ICT產業迅速發展之下,臺北市交通管制工程處已擘劃智慧交控之願景。2019年已在內湖及南港區域共9處路口實施全動態號誌控制,成效斐然。另外在文林北路/文林北路75巷路口運用感應性號誌半觸動控制邏輯策略,導入影像辨識系統及行人觸動按鈕感應支道人、車到達狀況,即時調整綠燈時間,以達到增加號誌時制彈性與提升幹道行車效率,以降低交通之碳排。

In order to increase the flexibility of the signal timing control, improve the efficiency of the movement on the main road and reduce carbon emissions.
