Influence of Computer-assisted Dispatch Intervention in the Dispatch Accuracy for Advanced Life Support Cases
摘要
目的：瞭解電腦輔助派遣系統，是否對於醫療優先派遣之正確性有所幫助。 方法：我們選取全面實施電腦輔助派遣前後，各一個月份所有高級救護分隊的救護紀錄表(Patient Care Record; PCR)進行研究。依救護紀錄表之病患呼吸與意識狀態，來判斷派遣之正確率。 結果：收集全面實施電腦輔助派遣前後各1,016及1,144份救護記錄表。呼吸不好、意識不好案例各144、178件。派遣正確比率由62.5%提升至71.35%(P=0.09)。 結論：電腦輔助派遣系統的介入，可能有助於派遣員對醫療派遣手冊順應性增加，可能從而提升派遣正確比率。

Background: We studied whether Computer-assisted Dispatch intervention improved dispatch accuracy in advanced life support cases. Methods: We analyzed patient care records from advanced life support teams for one month before and one month after the initiation of computer-assisted dispatch (CAD) intervention. We studied whether CAD intervention improved the dispatch accuracy in cases categorized as ”not conscious”, or ”not breathing”. Results: A total of 1016 and 1144 patient care records were analyzed before and after CAD intervention, respectively. The dispatch accuracy increased from 62.5% to 71.35%, but the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusions: CAD intervention improved adherence to dispatch protocol by emergency medical dispatchers, and probably increased dispatch accuracy.
