為了瞭解手指甲中是否存在造成耳黴菌症(otomycosis)的病源黴菌,本研究收集399例健康人手指甲檢體進行分析。本實驗針對健康人手指甲中的麴菌相進行初步調查,由實驗結果,我們從28例確定為麴菌沾染的指甲檢體中,分離鑑定出9種麴菌,分別為叢簇麴菌(Aspergillus caespitosus),相稱麴菌(Aspergillus equitis),黃麴菌(Aspergillus flavus),尖刺日本麴菌(Aspergillus japonicus var aculeatus),黑麴菌(Aspergillus niger var niger),侷限麴菌(Aspergillus restrictus),菌核麴菌(Aspergillus sclerotiorum),聚多麴菌(Aspergillus sydowii),與兩型殼麴菌(Aspergillus versicolor)。其中叢簇麴菌、相稱麴菌、黃麴菌、黑麴菌、聚多麴菌、與兩型殼麴菌等6種麴菌,則曾在台南地區耳鰴菌症病患耳道中被分離出。由初步結果推論指甲中仍可沾染致病性麴菌,麴菌經由指甲進入耳道,將可能成為造成耳鰴菌症的感染途徑之一。此外,本文也對麴菌與採樣對象居住地的關係,進行分析與論述。
In order to understand whether the pathogenic fungi of otomycosis exist in healthy fingernails, the fingernail samples from 399 college students were collected and under study. In this study, growth of Aspergillus genus was found in twenty-eight of 399 specimens. Nine species of Aspergillus were isolated and identified from fingernails, including Aspergillus caespicosus, Aspergillus equitis, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus japonicus var aculeatus, Aspergillus niger var niger, Aspergillus restrictus, Aspergillus sclerotiorum, Aspergillus sydowii, and Aspergillus versicolor. Six species of Aspergillus isolates were associated with the patients of otomycosis in Tainan area, including Aspergillus caespicosus, Aspergillus equitis, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger var niger, Aspergillus sydowii, and Aspergillus versicolor. From these results it was suggested that Aspergillus could possibly enter ears from fingernails and cause the fungal infection of ears. The relationship between residential districts of study population and fungal isolates were also discussed in this study.
