表達性藝術治療方案對醫學生情緒管理之影響

EFFECT OF EXPRESSIVE ART THERAPY PROGRAM ON THE EMOTION MANAGEMENT OF MEDICAL STUDENTS

摘要


醫學生的壓力漸增,身心健康備受關注,培養其情緒管理能力的方案甚為重要,表達性藝術治療藉由創造的過程,有助於參與者調整情緒與增進自我成長。本研究旨在規劃表達性藝術治療方案課程,並以選修此課程的59名大一醫學生為對象,探討此方案對醫學生情緒管理之影響。研究結果顯示,參與學生憂鬱感的分數下降、幸福感及唾液免疫檢測的得分增加,然皆未達顯著差異,而「過去生活的愉快經驗」及「曼陀羅圖色減壓」單元的唾液檢驗具顯著差異。參與者的學習回饋單顯示,十四個單元的方案內容,符合學生需求的程度介於75%至89%之間,課程目標的達成情形為83%。本研究企盼透過多樣化的表達性藝術,來增進醫學生情緒管理的能力,多數參與此方案的學生回饋意見表示,此方案有助於醫學生表達自己與了解他人,對於情緒壓力及人際間的相處有所幫助。

Owing to the increasing stress of medical students in Taiwan, their mental health needs attention. A program to educate the medical students to well manage their emotion is very important. The creation process of expressive art is widely recognized as helpful in fine-tuning emotion and self advancement. This study attempted to develop an Expressive Art Therapy Program and investigate the effect on the emotion management of medical students. A total of 59 freshmen-year medical students was included in the course of Expressive Art Therapy. The results showed that the depress score was reduced, well-being score and immunity were increased, although significant differences were not reached. Among the 14 unit courses, 75% to 89% of the students felt that their needs were met, and 83% of them realized that the purpose of the course had been reached. The feedback reports of students revealed that this program can helped medical student to voice themselves and communicate with other, and therefore would carry the potential in facilitating their emotion management and human relations.
