岩井俊二『番犬は庭を守る』の一考察――多和田葉子『献灯使』を比較の対象として──

2020年の初め頃、中国をはじめアジアやヨーロッパ諸国で、新型コロナウイルスがその猛威を振いはじめた。それを受け、世界各国は相次いでロックダウンや入国禁止令など、鎖国同然の政策に踏み切った。このように状況を見聞きし、2011年の東日本大震災やそれに伴う原発問題を扱った岩井俊二と多和田葉子のそれぞれの作品が脳裏をよぎった。というのも人々の生活や社会の秩序を大きく乱した点において、新型コロナウイルスも原発もその影響力は国境を越えてしまったという共通項があるからである。これを契機にボーダーレスへと拡大するような出来事を扱った文学作品に注目し、作品に込められているモチーフや作者の眼差しに注目し、個々人の心境に目を向けたアプローチをすべきだと改めて痛感した。よって、本稿では多和田葉子の短編『献灯使』を切り口に、被災地出身作家岩井俊二の原発問題を扱った『番犬は庭を守る』を主な考察のテクストとする。そして、岩井俊二の作者としての眼差しを明らかにしてみることを主旨とする。

2020年初，新型冠狀病毒由中國發威遍及亞洲、歐洲各國，在此情況下，世界各國相繼封城，最後終至施行禁止入境令，儼然如同鎖國。這時，筆者腦海中閃過以2011年日本東北大地震、福島核能問題為題材的岩井俊二及多和田葉子這兩位作家的作品。因為就打亂人們的生活和社會秩序這點來看，新型冠狀病毒和核能的影響力都是跨越國界的。在此，筆者深深感受到，我們應該以此作為契機，更關心書寫與無國界相關訊息的文學作品，關注這些作品中的主題、作者的關注點，去了解每個人的心境。基此，本稿以多和田葉子的短篇《獻燈使》切入，繼而聚焦於受災地出身的作家岩井俊二描寫核災問題的小說《守庭忠犬》為主要探討文本，釐清岩井俊二的關注點。｜The new Coronavirus raged all over the world with rapid pace from China to Asian and European countries in early 2020.In such circumstances, countries all over the world ordered lockdown successively, imposed entry a ban on foreigners and so on respectively, which was like taking the plunge and implementing the policy of national isolation. Based on this experience, the first thing came to my mind therein was the works of Shunji Iwai and Yoko Tawada, which mentioned about the issue of nuclear power generation that resulted from Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. The common trait for the high impact of crossing the national borders between coronavirus and nuclear power generation in terms of greatly disturbing people's lives and social order. Taking this opportunity, the author fully realized that the study shall focus on the literary works involving events about increasing degree of borderless as well as the motif in the works, and explore the states of mind respectively As a result, the study started from the short novel of ＂The Emissary＂ of Yoko Tawada and mainly examined ＂The Guard Dog Protects the Garden＂ by Shunji Iwai who came from the disaster-affected area, mentioning about the issue of nuclear power generation. Furthermore, it tried to clarify the viewpoint of Shunji Iwai as the writer for the gist.
