老子“道法自然”的思維探賾

摘要

《老子‧二十五章》載：「人法地，地法天，天法道，道法自然」，「自然」一詞，學者各有不同的詮釋。本文除了從老子整個思想體系中，探討「自然」的真正涵義外，並汲取先進學者的卓見，認定「自然」應解為「自己如此」。因為「道法自然」，所以人、地、天無不以「自然」為本，政治、處世、修身亦以「自然」為宗。「道以自然為性質」，「政治以無為自然為原則」，「人生以自然純真為依歸」，我們可以這樣說：「自然，就是老子學說的精神」。

In Chapter 25 of Laotzu (Tao Teh Ching), it stated: ”People follow the law of earth. Earth follows the law of heaven. Heaven follows the law of Tao. Tao follows the law of Nature.” There were various interpretations on ”nature” by different scholars.
This article will not only examine the real meaning of Nature from the overall thinking system of Laotzu, but also will apply the insight of the forerunning scholars to consider ”Nature” shall be interpreted as ”the way it is”. Due to ”Tao follows the law of Nature”, therefore, people, earth, and heaven have all taken nature as a foundation, as a result, politics, socialization, and self discipline, have all been based on ”Nature”. ”Tao follows the law of Nature as principle”; ”Politics follows doing nothing and being nature as principle”; ”Life follows being natural and innocent at the end”; from these points, we may infer that ”Nature is the main idea on the theory on Laotzu.”
