This study aims to investigate and analyze the correlation between the usage habits of social media and language among Taiwanese adolescents aged 13-18. The goal is to examine whether the usage of Chinese terms by Taiwanese adolescents is related to the popularity of the "TikTok" application. The research employs a questionnaire survey method. After conducting the study, the results indicate a correlation between the social media usage habits and language usage habits, as well as interpersonal communication among Taiwanese adolescents aged 13-18. However, there is no significant correlation with cultural adaptation and identity. Due to an insufficient sample of respondents using the "TikTok" application, the study cannot analyze the correlation between the use of "TikTok" and the usage of Chinese terms.
