Airsickness is the maladaptative responses of human to flying environment. Airsickness affects blood pressure and lowers pilots' G tolerance, it could also make pilots more prone to spatial disorientation. Due to central sedative side effects of current anti-airsickness medications, non-pharmacological treatment of airsickness had been developed. Biofeedback, physical exercise, diaphragm respiration, meditation, transcutaneous electrical stimulation and desensitization are used by many countries. Among those, desensitization is the most widely used and also the most successful non-pharmacological remedy for airsickness. Desensitization protocols from different countries were collected and compared. Due to high incidence of airsickness among cadets, develop desensitization protocol that comply with cadet training schedule and local facility will conserve human resource and also promote flight safety.
