Oriental flower arrangements emphasize on naturalism, while the emphasis of Western is on the use of function and design principles. Derived from Western flower arrangements, floral products of bouquets and headdresses for brides gradually become important accessories in featuring bridal styles. The purpose of this study was to investigate females' purchase decision, buying intension, and style preference toward bouquets and headdresses. Questionnaires were applied online and in person; a total of 156 valid questionnaires were obtained. Results showed that most participants agreed that floral bouquets and headdresses had to match wedding gowns (the major factor); the second-order factor affecting their decision in choosing bouquets was personal preference, but the second-order factors in selecting headdresses were makeup and hairstyle. Most female participants preferred to styles of posy bouquets and crown headdresses. They favored bouquets and headdresses made of natural flowers, giving an elegant fresh look. They liked to use bouquets and headdresses when shooting bridal photographs. In addition, participants who favored bouquets made of natural flowers did not appreciate elegant fresh styles of bouquets and headdresses, and participants who favored sweet lovely bouquets preferred to headdresses with bright colors. Findings can be as references provided to help bridal stylists and flora designers choose or create bouquet and headdress products for brides.
