Internal root resorption is a rare inflammatory process initiated within the pulp space with loss of dentin. It is usually asymptomatic and discovered by chance during routine radiographic examination or because of a classic clinic sign ＂pink spot＂ on the crown. This review article explains the prevalence, etiology, pathogenesis and, treatment methods of internal root resorption.
